- andromaton 3y agoEngaging and time consuming to read. Two parts. It explains education today is a point in the socialize, inform, enable triangle. Book by Kieran Egan proposes a curriculum based on fiv e stages of understanding: somatic, mythic, romantic, philosophic, and ironic. He points out societies have evolved along those lines. In practical terms, more stories, more conflict, more fun.
