Someone should ask him if xAI was intended from the very start to work so closely with Twitter and Tesla... why isn't it a department of Twitter, or a department of Tesla.
Because Tesla is not entirely Elon's. And Twitter is a garbage bin fire of liabilities, debt and unpaid bills, rent, salaries etc., but it has data which xAI can use cheaply or for free.
Surely we all remember when Elon Musk quit OpenAI under the pretense he has a conflict of interest because Tesla does work on AI. Well, Tesla still works on AI, and here is Elon Musk with a new AI company. What happened to the conflict of interest? Will xAI poach Tesla specialists and IP to his new venture?
As for Twitter, in legal language this is called "fraudulent transfer" or "fraudulent conveyance". This happens when a debtor transfers assets to another entity with the intent to prevent creditors from reaching those assets to satisfy their claims. In the context of a company going bankrupt, it can involve moving assets to a new company to avoid fulfilling obligations to creditors, which can include the original investors.
So far of course, I can't say this is what's happening. The company is nothing but 12 photos on a brochure site. However I remember very well that Elon Musk bought thousands of GPUs at Twitter with Twitter's money for a generative project there:

Suddenly these GPUs are now xAI's, a separate company.
You can't help but see fishy things going on, so watch events unfold with all this in mind.
