In my country we have a strong separation between a CS degree and a SWE degree. As a SWE graduate I was expected to know tons of maths, physics, control theory, signals analysis, circuit theory, electronics, telecommunications networks and operative research. This was roughly half the courses, the other half were the usual stuff like logic circuits, algorithms, operative systems, databases, computer architectures , etc.
