How awful. Which country?
- toastal 3y agoUnited States of America an eagle screeches in the distance
- ghgr 3y agoFun fact: the bald eagle scream heard in most movies and television shows is actually the call of a red-tailed hawk. https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2023/03/28/do-you-really-know-what-a-bald-eagle-sounds-like/ https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2023/03/28/do-you-...
- heywoodlh 3y agoThis should be considered unconstitutional...
- TechBro8615 3y agoPersonally I think it should be illegal for government websites to even present you with a captcha, especially one from a hostile corporation like Google. But this is a battle I've long since quit fighting...
- orangepurple 3y agoIt doesn't matter anyway. They can claim a million mail in ballots and there is no way to verify it beyond "just trust us" which we clearly do not.
- gruez 3y agoCan't you make the same argument for regular ballots?
- toastal 3y agoRewriting history is a part of our culture
- hkt 3y agoI read about the long walk of the Navajo recently. You can say that again..
- chayesfss 3y agoJust tried to rescue one by my property, poor thing passed
- RajT88 3y agoI knew this academically from a while back, but have seen it in the wild by my house where I have both hawks and bald eagles. Late at night I also get those classic spooky owl noises (great horned owl).
- RajT88 3y agoI recently wanted to check the price of tickets on Ticketmaster. Got an error about me looking like a bot (this was clearnet from a foreign country). Same deal with Tor. This is why we cannot have nice things. Ticketmaster wants to keep all the scalping on their platform and not anyone else's.
