  A couple of years ago, Fastly made some claims against cloudflare performance claims and they started a blame game. Recently popped up again in a recent post here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36731490 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36731490 Cloudflare mentioned then to deny intentional trickery ( eg. Here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29467075 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29467075 ) and mentioned "game on" ( in one of the posts here in HN I think by eastDakota, couldn't find it anymore) This is the result. > Love that the only country where Fastly is fastest is now Liberia. So, if the majority of your customers are there, keep using them! Otherwise… may want to look to the performance leader. And there is literally no country left where Akamai is the fastest. Interesting, that's it's out for a month and this time, Fastly didn't even try to refute it, for now.

  Not sure anyone should trust CF as an impartial source for data. Everyone is talking up their own service.

    I understand why you're saying it, because of Fastly a couple of years ago. I discussed it here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36733599 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36733599 :) They addressed a lot of original "claims" of Fastly here and now the claim is "just don't trust it"? I'm really surprised about the bias against cloudflare tbh.
