The "CO2 Coalition" is an advocacy organization that spreads misinformation about science. It was formerly known as the George C. Marshall Institute and was founded to defend Ronald Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative from skepticism from the scientific community. After the end of the Cold War, the organization began a pivot to environmental science denial.
