The US Congress has all but said that we are not alone in the Universe.
The US Senate Majority Leader and other elected officials have published a draft of this "UAP Disclosure Act of 2023". That's what UFOs are called these days.
In essence, the President will create a committee called the UAP Record Review Board. All governmental organizations must submit to this Board all documents, pictures, videos, etc. that they have on the UFO subject within a year.
In addition to that, the Board will use Eminent Domain to expropriate any UFO materials currently owned by private individuals or companies. The Board will also have the authority to subpoena any witnesses as they see fit.
- kvetching 3y agoAbsolutely insane that this gained absolutely no traction on here. This bill is basically an admission that Grusch was telling the Truth and that the only way they can get access to it is to create this bill. I thought Hacker News was pro technology. This is potentially the most advanced technology humanity has ever witnessed. The amount of power these crafts have been shown to exhibit is multiple gigawatts within seconds based on their luminosity and movement.
