I guess I must be the only one in a STEM field not using algebra, trigonometry, or calculus in my job. Evidently, everyone else is putting pen to paper routinely to reduce equations, compute geometric relations, and find integrals.

Who said anything about STEM? I’m in BD/legal and algebra comes up when thinking about budgets and pricing.

  I said something about STEM because math is right in the name and it's not controversial to expect those professions most likely to use it.
