Sideloading the APK and using a U.S VPN IP only worked for a short while. There is a way around this: use a residential U.S IP, and you can get these from various lesser known VPN providers. Such providers I'm not listing here, since they have questionable business practices, like routing traffic through residential machines, and your traffic becomes other people's traffic (and their traffic becomes yours). Very privacy invasive stuff: but it can be done.
