Yegge basically completely agrees with you. Once I started thinking of OOP in these terms it helped me, as a programmer, a lot.
- jakejake 15y agoThats a hilarious post but it sounds like Steve would love PHP. He could use nouns (objects) when he wanted yet add global functions (verbs) with no attachment to objects. I personally think that's a great way to make a terrible mess, but perhaps he knows something that I don't.
