The tone of a few comments is “Ukraine is already ruined so why not go further, eh”
- unethical_ban 3y agoYeah, precisely. Care to rebut? Care to say what your alternatives are? Leave Ukraine without artillery to support their defenses so Russia can come back in with their cluster munitions and landmines and take over cities? IIRC the US is trying to spool up conventional arty shell production - it isn't as if this is a first option.
- meepmorp 3y agoYeah, because the guy’s take is dumb and ignores the real situation on the ground. DPICM ammunition won’t make the situation appreciably worse and likely will help Ukraine fight the Russians more effectively. The handwringing is frankly annoying and couched in deliberately manipulative terms.
