Postman removes collections for users without an account (a.k.a. Scratch Pad)
- kcartlidge 3y agoVC money made it just a matter of time. And TBH businesses needing to make money is understandable. What I'm less generous about ... - The spin. They're somewhat honest later on about the reasons (cost, though they don't really mention revenue streams). However they spend a fair amount of time explaining how it's exciting news and benefits their apparently easily-confused customer base. Heroic. Thanks. - A September 15th cut-off (assuming you are running a client that is networked and knows to die) so only 2 months to either start paying or find, pay, and migrate away to an alternative. Of course if this lets them streamline the product so it doesn't vampirically drain a laptop's resources just to send some API calls, then maybe there's a positive.
- mikecoles 3y agoWhat are others using? Insomnia? Postwoman? It's been a while since I've tried out tools in this area. Any I should give a look?

- piyh 3y agoMy company rightfully has a bunch of controls to prevent data leakage through things like company API keys being stored on postman servers. They are effectively removing themselves from this company's workflow.
