That's an odd take, literally any other place on the Internet lists legitimate grievances for the riots rather than "unchecked mass migration" which serves just to dismiss the discontent of people.
- jncfhnb 3y agoI hate to break it to you but the internet is in fact overflowing with illegitimate takes.
- local_crmdgeon 3y agoThe people are discontent because they're stuffed into ghettos that are totally separate from French society. This produces a subculture that exists in opposition to that society, look into the intense shit French Muslims say about the broader nation. There's an incompatibility here that's not getting any better. The French suck at assimilating migrants, the migrants they accept don't seem to want to assimilate, and that doesn't work. It has 0 to do with, say, Indians in America. It's more like how the Swedes now have a problem with bombings, exclusive to their refugees.
