I am personally not that worried about what the future will be without ads. Some creators will switch to a subscription based platform, others will use pateron-like services or tips (doesn't work for everyone and often depend on whales), and others will find alternatives sources like grants and sponsors. Others might use their creative efforts as a platform for self-advertisement, sell merch, or just create content as a personal outlet.
