Remember the days that a brand new computer was fast, but after half a year, after installing 10s of programs/drivers it became very slow. The good but at the same time annoying thing was you could hear the machine "thinking" when swapping data to a rattling hdd.
- IIsi50MHz 3y agoOr if your computer, air conditioner, or something else was persistently louder than your disc drive, I/O read/write icons or physical LEDs were essential. (-:
