Is it the administration or Jerome Powell that we should be thanking?
- codyb 3y agoWhy not both? Biden certainly isn't urging the Fed to continue cutting rates despite a strong economy, while also cutting taxes increasing monetary velocity, during a time of increased monetary velocity due to COVID stimulus funds to keep things running.

- alkibiades 3y agono they didn’t LOL. they wanted their stooge brainard but congress refused to approve her
- ModernMech 3y agoWanting someone else doesn’t mean they didn’t keep Powell, which in fact they ended up doing. It also doesn’t mean she would have done a worse job. She could have done better, we will never know.
