- RajT88 3y agoA good manager is an "umbrella" and you have no idea what they do. A bad manager is a "funnel" and you know exactly what they do.
- andruby 3y agoI think some transparency is good. I prefer to know what keeps my manager up at night, ie: what are the big problems they are solving. That way I can help or offer context etc. Likewise, I'll share some of the problems I'm working on with my reports. You don't hand these problems down though, you just talk about it and solicit feedback & ideas.
