- throwaway4good 3y agoI think this would, if it is true, mark a major turning point in the US-China tech war: A fully sanctioned company managing to produce advanced chips (7nm or higher resolution) in a consumer product.
- King-Aaron 3y agoMy last phone was a Huawei and it was honestly fantastic. I'd be extremely keen to see them come back.
- throwaway4good 3y agoI think it will take a long time until we will see their phones again in the west. Google has a very effective hold on the market; no one is going to buy a 1.000 USD phone they cannot use for banking and common apps even if the HarmonyOS operating system in itself is solid enough.
