22-year-old builds chips in his parents’ garage
- garciasn 3y agohttps://archive.is/iGei9 https://archive.is/iGei9 1. Attends Carnegie Mellon. 2. His parents 'garage' is more like a 1970s electronics lab and filled with self-reconditioned parts from that era that at one time cost 100s of thousands and he picks up and refurbishes himself for 250x less. 3. He scours old patents and textbooks for ideas on how to craft his own chips and make them better with each iteration. 4. He has millions of view from his 113K subs on his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7E8-0Ou69hwScPW1_fQApA https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7E8-0Ou69hwScPW1_fQApA) 5. This shit is wicked cool and I envy his skill.
