TikTok executive admits Australian users’ data accessed by employees in China
- sequoiar68 3y agoBoring topic again. Shouldn't there be used to post topics related to science, technology and innovation?
- cscurmudgeon 3y agoWhat makes you think this is not technology?
- rvz 3y agoExpected and very unsurprising. Might as well admit that TikTok knew they lied about not being able to access user data overseas from China.
- jqpabc123 3y agoJust asking the question is absurd. If TikTok executives won't acquiesce to government demands, they will be charged with a crime and replaced with others who will. Obtaining the information is at most a mere formality --- and the current executives know this. Any suggestion otherwise is just a ruse for western consumption.
- jqpabc123 3y agoAny further debate on this should nit be necessary. Is TikTok owned by a Chinese company? If yes, then it cannot defy the Chinese government --- despite empty claims to the contrary. Don't take my word for it. Just ask Jack Ma --- if you can find him.
