If you want to DIY, you'll probably have success with Amazon KDP which is good for eBooks. If you go through KDP, you can sign up for the
Amazon Prime Reading selection program which helps your book gain more opportunity to be noticed though your limitation is the fact that you can't post more than 20% of your book online or something like that while enrolled.
As with most authors, they find themselves procrasinating so keep to your points, write your outline, and stay with it. Depending on the length of your book, you charge what you want, but just know that you'll sell more at $0.99 or $1.99 than you will if you set them at $9.99. Depending on what you are writing, you may even want to keep it under 100 pages or make it into a series of short reads. The hardest part of writing your book is marketing it and getting people to be interested. You can hire someone on Fiverr to design several book covers which is a huge part of the attraction to get people to even notice anything you've written.
Write it. Edit it. Be confident and comfortable with it. Upload it. Market it. Sell it.
