I have hard time seeing how this book & Ukr.war can be compared. In some abstract sense, probably there is a connection, but since the book was published, warfare completely changed. Tanks, Jets, AA weapons, electronic warfare and let's not forget drones.

Clausewitz doesn't talk about it but you can derive very interesting case studies from China in the "Three Kingdoms" period and also in Japan after the Heian period. For instance there was coevolution in Japan in the long time involving armor, bows and arrows, swords and firearms. The story of competition in technology is structurally the same even when the technology is quite different.
