Student Falsely Accused by Musk as Being ‘Fed’ Posing as Neo-Nazi
- damnesian 3y agoEnshittification of Twitter continues apace.
- LinuxBender 3y agoIf something bad happens to that student and/or their family will Elon be liable for damages? How could he mitigate that risk?
- evan_ 3y agoI don't know if he did actually want to work for the federal government but that avenue is probably permanently closed to him now. He'll need to explain this whole saga to every potential employer for the rest of his life because it will pop on background checks and google. Even with explanations there are probably employers who will pass just to avoid being associated with the potential drama. Every time nazis protest anything anywhere and one of them has dark-colored hair, some nazi apologist will dig his name up and claim it's him, and the abuse will start all over again. He and his family will continue dealing with that for the rest of their lives. As a result of all of these things he literally has fewer choices, less freedom, than you or I have. The damage has occurred and will continue to occur forever.
- Zigurd 3y agoHe's got a screw loose. This follows the same neurotic template as accusing a hero diver saving kids in a flooded cave of being a "pedo." It's like he has a problem that manifests as wild accusations. Or maybe the same self-destructive impulse that made him buy Twitter because an old girlfriend thought the Babylon Bee was being maligned. I'd say I hope this kid sues him, but so far he seems unbothered by losing tens of billions to these foibles.
- brucethemoose2 3y agoElon is a good example of Twitter addiction, and of what hapoens when you go down the internet conspiracy rabbit hole. It can happen to anyone... Even the CEO of Twitter and a rocket company.
- rsynnott 3y agoI'm half-convinced this is all attention-seeking behaviour. He has a desperate need to be the internet's main character, even if that main character is a sort of malicious village idiot.
