As someone who visited countless doctors because none of them could diagnose me, I welcome AI for patient care. I ended up self-diagnosing myself, got a doctor to perform some tests, and confirmed it. I wonder how much my life would have changed if I didn't waste 15 years with misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis. I think doctors should heavily use AI to help diagnose patients but at the same time, they should know the limits of AI.
