I'd like to think that this whole project came about from the pun "GPS Log". As in, it's not just a GPS tracklog, it's a literal wooden log. Brilliant!

- HPsquared 3y agoSeems like a blue-collar/white-collar distinction. What do you think when you hear the word "log". Is it a piece of wood, or a computer file?
- KineticLensman 3y ago> What do you think when you hear the word "log". It totally depends on context. I write software and manage trees in my garden and never get confused.
- hobs 3y agoWell I think the "I am going to go drop a log." leaves a third option
- driggs 3y agoI think that almost nobody in the year 2023 would assume "a piece of wood" given the phrase "GPS Log", blue collar or white collar. That's what makes it a good pun.
