Twitter traffic sinks in wake of changes and launch of rival platform Threads
- brucethemoose2 3y ago> 4% decline. OK... What if alligator clamps hooked to a employee ears and a car battery boosted productivity 4%? Would that be worth it? What if it was 15%? This is what I feel like when they talk about the work from home productivity decline. It totally ignores a (for some people) massive increase in quality of life, as if thats totally worthless.
- 3cats-in-a-coat 3y agoTell me about the increase in quality of life on Twitter. Maybe it's because people can just freely spread propaganda and extreme ideologies there now. Or maybe it's because occasionally you can't have links to competitors, or links at all, and their search and trends is blocked. Or maybe it's when you get "rate limit reached" after 5 minutes of browsing. Or maybe it's the CEO, currently chairman and CTO, constantly acting like a child in a way where if he were a regular employee he'd fire himself?
- brucethemoose2 3y agoOh I think I posted to the wrong thread, lol.
- bcoates 3y agoI got distracted by this throwaway line: "That included white nationalist Richard Spencer, who used to write for Breitbart" As far as I can tell the Grauniad has (in multiple articles) confused him with a different guy of the same name who wrote a few guest articles.
