I was so up for reading that but holy crap the interface on my phone browser.
Like I don't actually mind ads at all, if they're streamed in like the other content and offered as an option. I don't even mind flashy graphics that try to grab my attention. Fair play.
But this idea that because I clicked the bait that I'm gonna stick around to watch an ad or deal with a pop-up that I have to wait for it to load... We can't live like this.
- BugsJustFindMe 3y agoI saw no ads or popups or flashy graphics on my iphone with the safari adguard extension.
- shippintoboston 3y agoI’m sure there’s a better solution someone here can point to, but I just use the AdGuard DNS which filters most ads out on mobile
- jtode 3y agoI run pi-hole, not sure why it's failing to deal with that. Probably I ain't configured it right. Networks not my strong suit. But FFS do we really have to exist in perpetual war with our sources of information for the rest of our lives?
