It's Cannon Lake all over again but since it's a retail product and Apple to boot, it's much, much more visible. The tale of a product which needed to be launched due to corporate dynamics but several years need to pass before it's actually ready. (And as we see with the Sapphire Rapids woes, it's still not fully so, five years later. But close enough.)
