Noob question: what's the diff between somatic genetic mutation and epigenetics? This OC's working hypothesis is that somatic copy-number variation is the culprit. Is copy-number variation a form of epigenetics? Is there a clear cut boundary between what is a transcription error and gene expression feedback loop? Way out of my depth here.
