They did provide him with rubber gloves, but really he should have been completely apart from it. This story is really messed up, but merely "finding" the floor soaked in blood is only the beginning of the story. It was blood and feces, from a prior passenger that seemed to have exploded in the seat. Who knows what danger they put this passenger in by making him clean it up.
