to be honest... we already saw that the migration from python2 to python3 was a complete shitshow, but the value python brings is so great the ecosystem survived. i would gladly accept a python3 to python4 breaking change where all the necessary bits are changed to get real multi-threading (no-gil, gilectomy or whatever). it's just so worth it.
