Airline passenger finds plane floor soaked in blood
- tristor 3y agoWow, that’s awful. Definitely concerns me about my upcoming Air France flight. Stuff happens, but this aircraft should have been taken out of service and deep cleaned.
- bloomingeek 3y agoYeah, we humans are gross most of the time. Whether it's on purpose or accidental, airline seats and floor are soiled in some way. I always use "airport clothes" when I fly and then change out of them asap. I also admit to spilling on the seat occasionally myself. When I do, I ask for something to clean with. The Flight Attendants always are helpful.

- Accujack 3y agoThis is unfortunately typical of airlines, even post COVID. If the man who bled was suffering from a hemorrhagic fever like Marburg or Ebola, contacting the blood might have infected the man who used the seat next... or the flight attendants, or the people at the airports. This is exactly the sort of event that would allow those infections to spread.
- ksaj 3y agoThe part nobody seems to pick up on, is that the airline also made him clean it up, even though he is not staff on that plane, and the blood/feces was not his. They did provide him with rubber gloves, but really he should have been completely apart from it. This story is really messed up, but merely "finding" the floor soaked in blood is only the beginning of the story. It was blood and feces, from a prior passenger that seemed to have exploded in the seat. Who knows what danger they put this passenger in by making him clean it up.
