As someone who is very much "sold" on effect systems, my feedback is: you gotta do more work to sell the pitch upfront. I clicked through five or six links from your GitHub repository and you still didn't sell the idea of effects or how you're making them work in TypeScript.
Here's a suggestion. On your README.md, show a short sample of code that really makes the most of your effect system. Imagine that your reader has never heard of effect systems. Really work to show them off before going on about APIs.
I appreciate it is hard. But it's necessary work for a library dealing in a relatively abstract, relatively exotic topic like effects. Many programmers are not dumb but are conservative about new ideas.
This is a criticism I have of many monad libraries, actually. Nobody discovering your library cares about the import syntax for `bind` or your auto-generated docs for `Bifunctor`. I want you to show me the problem your library solves.
