You do realize that “slightly higher” in the Bay Area is almost certainly a significant pay cut due to CA/BA cost of living?
- moralDilema 3y agoYou are right, I should have provided a more nuanced description. It's about 20% more than my current pre-tax pay. I believe it won't be as comfortable as what I have now, since I am compensated fairly well, and live in a state with much lower local taxes.
