Wasn't it the last thread on TK where people pointed out you don't need the moral conundrum of rooting for a murderer because he basically cribbed his big ideas from Jacques Ellul's 'The Technological Society'?
Perhaps it's more accurate to say that he took good ideas in a bad direction and we should always be wary of whether we are doing the same.
- karmakurtisaani 3y agoHis manifesto is also full of strange "leftist" blaming nonsense. I don't know Ellul, but that's probably where all the better ideas come from.
