I know journalism has a bad rap in some circles, but most reporters are genuinely trying to share real stories.

- ahahahahah 3y agoYou seem to have missed the point. You claimed that it was due to only having journalists that you wouldn't have hate speech or misinfo. Except many journalists spew that shit constantly. If you aren't having those things its not due to the fact that journalists are in some way above them, it's because of something else you are doing. In fact, I would consider your original claim to be "misinfo", so I hope you aren't spreading it on your fancy new site.
- jaredwiener 3y agoTo clarify: I'm not saying that reporters are somehow inherently unable to post hate speech, I am saying they are not doing it on this platform.
