Do you have evidence this situation is common? No claim of inter-division sabotage is mentioned in the linked article and I have not heard similar claims. I don't doubt that sabotage happens inside dysfunctional organizations. There are plenty of stories of internal sabotage. However, I don't know of any evidence that this is either a widespread occurrence between ICE and EV divisions or that this is a problem inside specific automakers.
