Yes, children are impressionable and I don't think that stops at the age of 18, otherwise the biggest tech companies wouldn't be advertising companies. Being repeatedly shot and killed by other humans in virtual format taught me the lesson that other people can be quite skilled at shooting and killing me, presumably in real life as well, and I'd very much like to avoid that in a situation where I can't just press "A" to respawn.
