If you mean for personal use? I tried various note taking apps before I settled on Joplin. I like that its open source and has a community that is helpful and people are always wrting extensions for it. Also the cross device syncing works really well with dropbox and I was already using that service. Its not perfect but I much preferred it something like notion personally which felt overkill in terms of power/features, fiddly and had an awful mobile experience
