Mastodon-powered Blog Comments for static Jekyll sites

I'm doing the same, but I'm using a combination of: https://webmention.io/ https://webmention.io/ and https://brid.gy/ https://brid.gy/ Webmention is a protocol for leaving comments on pages. Webmention.io is a free hosted version. Bridgy brings in replies from mastadon and other services. I wrote a bit more about how I did it a few years ago: https://evertpot.com/bye-disqus-hello-webmention/ https://evertpot.com/bye-disqus-hello-webmention/

This is very clever, especially from a marketing perspective!
