Can we get the European Union to mandate physical toggles and shutters for mic and camera, now that they're also pushing for user-replaceable batteries?
- imjonse 3y agoIt's going to be hard as long as the european MEPs own phones have no such shutters...
- Longhanks 3y agoAre you talking about the European Union that wants to permanently dismantle end to end encryption and full access to any and all texts sent between any number parties?
- LovinFossilFuel 3y agoExactly. Don't count on the next-gen mega-state to have a long-term positive effect on your life.
- ffhhttt 3y agoI would be less surprised if they actually banned things like this given their attitude to E2E encryption..
