The way people already use the word "thread" to describe an online conversation is exactly why they picked the name.
- Dalewyn 3y agoI'll give Zuck that it also rolls off the tongue really well compared to, say, Mastodon or really anything so far from the federated multiverse. Rethread (retweet), thread (twitter) feed, etc. Having a catchy name is among the most important steps to success.
- karlshea 3y agoYeah "toot" is not great and "post" isn't specific enough.
