Everyone in the industry hates Autodesk. They do nothing good except serve software everyone relies on and do it reasonably well. Licenses are very expensive but everyone pays because nothing else works as well. It's all a bit Windows. They are loathsome people to work with who only care about licensing and then just abandon you to buggy tools. Still I look at the open source and other competitors and they win, at all things. I am hoping they are declared a monopolist by the EU but I think the Building Information Management software tide will drown them.
