I will never understand the logic of forcing advertisements on people who have shown extreme unwillingness to see or click them. Either you're screwing the advertisers by serving their ads to disinterested/hostile eyeballs, or you're screwing the users by forcing them into a defenseless position against psychological warfare (basically saying "it doesn't matter if you ignore the ads, because as long as we show them to you, you'll inevitably succumb to human weakness").
