Show HN: Webpod – deploy Next.js to your own server
- medv 3y agoHey HN, I'm the one behind Webpod. Some of you might know me from my previous stint at Google where I worked as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). I've been building developer tools for over a decade, and I've put my heart and soul into creating tools like google/zx, deployer, expr, fx, and many others that you might have come across. I've worn many hats - frontend dev, backend dev, SRE - and I believe that's given me a unique perspective on things. It's like standing at the crossroads of all these experiences, seeing how they intersect, and then building something awesome from there. Recently, I parted ways with Google (got laid off, to put it bluntly) and I thought, "Why not use this as an opportunity to do what I truly love?". So here I am, bootstrapping my own startup and doing my best to help developers like you and me. Webpod is my latest creation and I'd really appreciate it if you could check it out and provide any feedback. Constructive criticism, brutally honest reviews, all are welcome.
