  In both directions. You could use AI to rewrite things to disguise your style, but there are disadvantages to that (extra work re-editing as needed, that re-editing may put some of the fingerprints back in, accepting a fairly generic style instead of standing out if the latter is your desire). Similarly, AI can be used to do the style analysis needed to detect the likely identity of a writer. This may be less effective if the writing is reformatted by AI as mentioned above, but not completely ineffective. SciFi muttering: Maybe this is how digital sentience will come about: AI trying to hide us from other AI trying to work around that and so forth in a little arms race that leads to AIs rewriting AIs to combat AIs because we can't keep up without assistance. In biologicals self-awareness evolved as an obvious survival strategy, and arguably sentience evolved as an advancement of that for the same reasons, perhaps the same sort of arms race is the fastest (though not well controlled) way to develop other sentience & general intelligence?
