Would it help if ISPs levied a small “tax” which would get distributed to visited/liked sites?
- mkl 3y agoNo, because the sites would have no obligation to pass it on to people like the author of libjpeg-turbo whose work they use.
- Someone 3y agoIndeed. For evidence as to how ‘well’ that would work, look at the music industry. I don’t think software is different enough from music to make a difference.
