The accounts that are most active/followed on Twitter are not the type of people that have Instagram accounts.
People with large followings are not going to simply switch, no matter how much they hate Elon.
- bmarquez 3y agoI share your sentiment. I use Twitter for business and Instagram (before I deleted it) for friends. I follow very different accounts on each. I'm not going to mix business and pleasure so to speak, especially with Meta's poor privacy reputation. And for people who have strong negative opinions on Musk, most of them hate Zuckerberg too. For them, Threads might have a better chance if it was a non-Meta product.
- pseudopersonal 3y agoThreads can succeed on sports alone. NBA/NFL moving from Twitter to Threads will pull millions. And those users are IG friendly
