- jfengel 3y agoHuh... I saw him a decade ago at a Fringe festival in Dublin. I went in purely at random -- I walked into literally the first show I saw a sign for. I thought it was very odd that I'd come all the way from the US to Ireland to see an actor from New York. But it was certainly a heck of a show. It was long and rambling and all over the map. It was the last show of the day and he just kept going until they literally shut the lights off on him. (Fringe shows are usually rigorously timed because they're trying to cram in as many as they can.) It was incredibly high energy -- resulting in him gradually stripping off the drag costume he started with, until he was practically naked. He said it was an abbreviation of a project he was working on, doing 24 decades in 24 hours. According to his Wikipedia article, he actually did that once, a few years later. So, it's kinda nifty to catch up on this almost exactly a decade later. Thanks for posting that.
