As a personal development junkie, I find war to be very problematic (well duh). Killing people is just so... unenlightened. Then again, I find the warrior ethos or what you might call the male Warrior archetype to be of great interest. It's pretty obvious that this is something that the modern world very much lacks, at least we don't have any formal initiation rites for it (going to Marine boot camp might qualify though).
